About Us
Set up in early 2025, we have grown into a buzzing pottery studio for the Leek and Staffordshire Moorlands wider community. We have a subscription based membership plan you can join, and provide workshops, classes and tuition.
We are based in the cellar of the Foxlowe Arts Centre, Stockwell Street, Leek. A thriving centre for a rich variety of arts-related projects in the heart of the historic art town of Leek.

The studio is equipped with 6 individual workbenches, as well as a communal table large enough to fit 6 people comfortably. Workshops and classes are typically held around the communal table and all of the space is available for use during membership sessions. We also have shelf space which is available to rent for members at an additional cost.
We have a tabletop pottery wheel that is available for use as well as a small seated wheel. We are hoping to further improve our facilities through our fundraising efforts! We also have lots of communal tools and glazes available for use, as well as a supply of communal clay.
We currently have 22 members with a wide variety of experience levels. We welcome potters of all skill levels, however, please be aware that our pottery studio can only be accessed by stairs, as there is no lift down to the cellar (where we are based).
